Qiong-Hua Wang is a professor of optics at the School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University. She was a professor at Sichuan University from 2004 to 2018. She was a post-doctoral research fellow at the School of Optics/CREOL at the University of Central Florida from 2001 to 2004. She worked at the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) from 1995 to 2001. She received B. S., M. S. and Ph. D. degrees from UESTC in 1992, 1995 and 2001, respectively. She published more than 350 papers cited by SCI and authored 3 books. She holds 7 U. S. patents and more than 160 Chinese patents. She is a Fellow of SID, OPTICA, COS and CSOE. She is/was associate/subject editors of PhotoniX, Journal of the Society for Information Display, Optics Express, etc. She is a recipient of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, a leading talent in scientific and technological innovation of the National Ten Thousand Talents and a Changjiang Scholar Distinguished Professor of the Ministry of Education. Tian-Zi Shen is a professor of optics at the School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University. His research interest includes “liquid crystal materials” “two-dimensional nanomaterials” “electron-optical devices”. He has published more than 30 papers in “Nature Materials” “Advanced Materials” “Carbon” “Nano Energy” and other journals. At the same time, he was awarded 10 patents, 3 in U.S. and 7 in South Korea respectively. He had already received two research fundings from government before joining Beihang University. Chao Liu is an associate professor of optical engineering at the School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University. His research interests are liquid photonic devices and imaging technology. He has presided over 7 national and provincial projects. Chao Liu authored 1 book and published 85 papers. He holds 1 U.S patents and 32 Chinese invention patents. He is also the Guest Editor of ‘Crystals’. He received Ph.D. degree from Sichuan University in 2016. Di Wangis associate professor at the School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University. She was a lecturer at Shanxi University from 2017 to 2018 and a post-doctoral research fellow at Beihang University from 2018 to 2022. She received her Ph. D. degree from Sichuan University in 2017. She has published more than 70 papers cited by SCI (including 33 papers as the first/corresponding author) and authored 1 books. She holds more than 50 Chinese patents and 5 PCT international patents. She is the executive secretary of the Optical Display Committee of Chinese Society for Optical Engineering. She is PI of over six national and provincial-level research projects.
